For millennia, people have created art—in media ranging from paint on cave walls to metal or stone sculpture to computer-generated images, sound and motion. But how do we preserve the digital works being created today? Partnering with Google Arts & Culture, Rhizome and the co-creator of the internet itself, Vint Cerf, we created this mixed media-style video essay exploring the fragility of our digital future.
